First on t...For RSO personnel--I've had numerous people tell me they've heard the X5 LEGION is not approved for duty. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! The X5 Legion is a P320 with attributes that allow it to fall within the matrix. The exception is the trigger pull weight (which is debatable in itself). By swapping out the actual trigger itself (and only the physical trigger) with the standard Sig P320 flat trigger, it brings the engineered pull weight within our matrix requirements. There is a nominal charge for the trigger and it is installed in minutes by a Sig armorer.
The next issue is the holster. We can make the Safariland 6390RDS-4502-131 or the 6360RDS work with the Legion X5. We've placed about 100 or more in service so far with 0 issues reported. No, Safariland will no longer warranty the holster--However, most of us going to the X5 for duty could care less if they'll pay for parts down the road.
If you like the P320, or want to upgrade from the standard X5, the X5 Legion is the ticket. The X5 Legion has the new sight plate for the Romeo 1 Pro (and the Romeo 2 eventually). We have a large shipment of Romeo 1 Pro's coming in the near future. Safariland has not been great with filling open orders, but we expect the RDS holsters to come in soon as well. We will likely offer a service to modify the holster for the X5. You're paying for my time at that point, but it gets done correctly.
